HGUC Jegan Review Part 3: Comparisons and Misc by Blayaden HGUC Jegan Review Part 3: Comparisons and Misc by Blayaden
Third and final part of the review. The Jegan is larger than your average HGUC kit, but thats pretty standard for the era. It fits in well with other suits from Char's Counterattack and Unicorn. Its a tad taller than older GM units (as it should be) and, of course, huge in comparison to the "Late UC" mechs like the Javelin here.

I'd also like to note that it's designed to interchange parts with the ECOAS Jegan and Jesta. Its got a lot of play value if you have any of these other suits. ^^

I hope this was somewhat useful to you! I personally love the Jegan and its relatives.

Thats a shame. Gundam kits are usually pretty good about their parts and quality. (especially the recent ones)

Most of the kits from the 90's needed a LOT of work to look good. They've made GIANT steps since then in virtually every department! ^^

They're all winners in my book (especially since they share 80-90% of the same parts ^^;)

The standard Jegan (here) is the cheapest and... well, the "standard". ^^;

The Stark Jegan comes with a GM II rifle, as well as its bazooka, AND parts for the Standard Jegan. (sans shield)

The ECOAS Jegan comes with an extra head for the visor, and has a pretty radical paint job. It comes with its trademarked bazooka, Jegan rifle, and shield. Like the Stark Jegan, it comes with the parts to convert it to the "standard" version. Its also worth noting that the ECOAS Jegan is the "D" type from Unicorn, so you could remove the ECOAS parts and paint it up like a Jegan D type with no problem. (the differences between the "Standard" Jegan and the "D type" is the front skirt armor (or technically the addition of armor) and the shoulders.)

I've got the ECOAS Jegan and my only complaint is that I would of liked more hands.

Yeah, I agree completely with that. The Jegan's hands are larger than other RGM series, so you can't swap the green panels on the back of the hands with other suits (to my knowledge). The ReZEL has the same problem.

I'm hoping that the HGUC Nemo has similar hands. If not... well, I don't think too many people would notice or care if the back of the hand was the wrong color.
